My Story

This is Brayan De La Cruz Poncio, and I am updating you about my family and me. First, I will tell you about my family. We are members of the Catholic Church, and we attend the mass on Monday and Thursday. We have accepted Jesus in our hearts. We have hens, pigs, sheep and cows at home, and we sell them when we need money. We grow corn and black beans, and they are for our consumption. We are a humble family, and our greatest need is groceries. My father’s name is Eulalio. He is 45 years old, and he is in good health. He works as a farmer and tends his small hardware store. My mother’s name is Ana. She is 40 years old, and she is in good health too. She works hard at home and takes care of us.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 9 years old, and I am healthy. I am in second grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because I learn more. I study in my village, so the school expenses are not so high. My favorite season is winter because I like to get wet. I enjoy a cake with my family for my birthday. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking hot corn drinks. Living Water is very important for me because I am blessed with food and gifts through the feeding program.
