My Story

Hello! How are you? This is Maynor Eduardo Gomez Morente, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. Let’s start to talk about my loved ones. My father’s name is Isaias, and he is 39 years old. He is in the United States, and he works doing the cleaning in a warehouse where people pack fish; he sends money for our needs. My mother’s name is Gregoria, and she is 32 years old. She is a housewife and takes care of us. Thankfully, my both parents are healthy. At the moment, we are in need of groceries. We raise hens and grow corn and black beans for the family consumption. We still attend Prince of Peace Church twice a week; we have accepted Jesus in our hearts.

I am fine, and I am 7 years old now. I am in 1^st grade, and I prefer to attend school because it is easier to do my homework. I thank my father because he is supporting me with my school expenses. I want to become a doctor when I am older, and I would like to improve my Spanish since I speak Quiche dialect most; it would be nice to learn English too. I like playing soccer, and I love drinking peach juice. I feel happy about my birthday because I receive presents. I enjoy Holy Week because I eat traditional bread. It is a blessing to be part of Living Water and your life because I receive medicine for free when I am sick. I say goodbye to you for now hoping to have news from you soon.
