My Story

Hello! This is Maynor Eduardo Gomez Morente, and I want you to know it is a great pleasure to write this update. By the grace of our Heavenly Father, I am a healthy 8-year-old boy. I am studying in the second grade this year. I attend classes at school in the morning and do homework in the afternoon. My favorite pastime is playing with my brothers. Now, let me express my gratitude to you for blessing me with delicious food through LW-Adopt a Child. What I like eating the most at the feeding program is fried chicken. As you know, the staff organizes a Christmas party annually. My favorite part of the activity is watching the choreographies.

Now, let me tell you a little about my family. I am so happy because my father is in good health. He has lived and worked hard in the United States to cover our needs and expenses. He is in touch with us frequently. He told us that he makes a living by cleaning for other people. I ask you to pray for him so the Lord keeps him well. My mom does her best as a housewife. She also raises a few cows to sell to earn an extra income. Fortunately, she is also healthy. She accepted Jesus in her heart many years ago, and since then, she has attended The Prince of Peace Christian Church. Currently, she takes my siblings and me there too. My father also accepted the Lord when he was here in Guatemala. To end this letter, I want you to know that I am grateful to the LW evangelism team for sharing the gospel with my mom. It was a blessing for her. See you later!
