My Story

Receive special regards from Cuatro Caminos village! I am so happy to know that you are taking the time to read my updated information, which I really appreciate. My full name is Floridalma Beatriz Hernandez Barrera and I am 20 years old. I stopped attending school a while ago, so I stay home and work in a nearby tortilleria business. I prefer cold weather rather than hot because I like eating sweet bread with a warm cup of coffee. I have attended the feeding program for about fifteen years, which has been a great blessing for my whole family and me. Many children and teenagers in my community can receive delicious food and medicine, thanks to the generosity of people like you. May God continue working through LW-Adopt A Child for many years more! I tell you that I can also participate in the bible classes and pray alongside other teenagers.

About my spiritual life, I tell you that I attend the Catholic Church and I like listening to the sermon. I would like to play any instrument and serve there someday. I tell you that brother Hercules (a member of the LW staff) recently asked my mother about her salvation. Fortunately, she is assured about it because she accepted Jesus in her heart a while ago. She considers that one of the keys to get into Heaven is working to be a good person. By the grace of the Lord, my whole family and I are in good health. My mother keeps busy selling chickens and sheep that she raises herself, while my father works as a day laborer. They strive a lot to provide my siblings and me with food and other essentials.
