My Story

Good morning! My full name is Veronica Leticia Mendez Simaj, and thank you for blessing me through LW Adopt-A-Child and the Feeding Program for 7 years. I like to attend the Bible classes because I pray before having my lunch. My parents are grateful for the great blessing with a plate of hot and delicious food for many children in need, and I am one of them.

I live with my mother at home because my father continues living and working in the United States. He struggles to sustain us by sowing corn. He is a farmer and he works in the corn fields even though he had a facial stroke in November 2025. He visited the doctor and received some therapies. By the grace of God, he recovered, but I would like to ask for prayers for his health. Meanwhile, my mother also is recovering from a gallstone surgery she had four months ago. The surgery was successful, and she continues dedicating her time to the household duties. She also contributes to the home expenses when she sells her hens that she raises. I also ask for your prayers for her. We persevere in the Christian Church and I enjoy attending with my whole family. Jesus lives in our hearts, so he is our Savior and Lord, and someday we will be in heaven. The LW teacher encouraged my mother to continue seeking God.  I help her to wash dishes at home. I prefer cold weather. I am ten years old and I am in 4^th grade this year. I am in good health and happy to send you my updated information. Blessings to you!
