My Story

Hello! I am delighted to write this letter to tell you about my life. I hope you are keeping well together with your loved ones. I am Melvin Leonardo Hernandez Lopez, your sponsored child and friend. I am 11 years old and am a fifth-grade student. Currently, I have classes at school in the morning. I have one dog at home as a pet. I enjoy playing soccer with my friends and youngest brother on weekends. I also enjoy attending the feeding program because of its tasty food. My favorite food is fried chicken. Being part of Adopt a Child-LW has been a great blessing for me. I like celebrating Christmas at the feeding program. My favorite part of the party is listening to the Christmas songs. Because of all these reasons and more, I thank you so much for supporting and trusting in this project. May the Lord reward you for everything!

Now, let me tell you about my family. My father makes a living as a farmer for our neighbors. My mother works in a plant nursery in my town. They do their best to cover all the expenses and needs at home. As for health, my whole family and I are in good health. We do not attend any church at the moment. However, I hope to do it soon. I ask you to pray for the well-being of my family. In advance, thank you so much! We appreciate that a teacher from the LW evangelism team shared the gospel and encouraged us to seek the Lord. To end this letter, I want you to know that my grandmother helped me to write this for you. See you later!
