Hello! I send you warm greetings hoping you are receiving many blessings from our Lord. I am Julio Fernando, and I tell you that I had a surgery on my eyes on February 26 of this year. I had a condition that affected the tissue of the corneas. I had the surgery in a public hospital but my parents had to pay Q4,000.00 quetzals ($ 533) for it; they had to get a loan for it. Thankfully, I am fine but I still have to use 2 different types of drops to hydrate my eyes. I will use glasses for a while.
I am 15 years old now, and I am in 9th grade; I am attending school in the mornings. I like playing soccer on weekends. My favorite food is chicken stew. Living Water’s support has been a great blessing for me, especially for the grocery bags and medical/dental attention. I am an active boy, so I would like to be part of LW collaborators team in the future. I enjoy the Christmas celebration held at the feeding program; everything is beautiful. I want to ask for your prayers for my family because we are sad since my grandmother recently passed away; we ask God for strength.
I live with my parents who do their best to cover the home expenses. My father continues processing documents of others while my mother sells hygienic products or other products by catalog. My family and I are now attending the Catholic Church, and LW Evangelism team has encouraged us to continue seeking God; we are grateful for their words. My mother and I gave this information to an Evangelism teacher. I write my letter with much love just for you. May God bless you!
In Jesus name
