It is a great pleasure me to write this letter and tell you a little about me. I am Ofelia Veronica, and thankfully, I am in good health. I do not attend school yet, so I enjoy playing with my dolls. I have been attending the feeding program for more than 1 year, and I love to be part of the Bible classes because the teachers teach us beautiful praises. Here in Guatemala, we have summer and winter seasons, and I prefer winter because I can use my sweaters. We are members of the Catholic Church, and we are motivated to attend it because God has been faithful with us. I know I will be able to enter God’s kingdom because I have accepted Him in my heart.
My siblings and I are now living with our parents, and our village is called Chinimsiguan. My parents are doing their best to cover our needs, and thank God, they are healthy. My father works as a day laborer while my mother raises hens for selling; she also does all the household chores. As a family, we all go to work at the coast from October to January; there, we pick coffee beans. My mom helped me with this letter for you, and she wants to thank you for all the support you have given me through the feeding program. She saw how many families were blessed at LW Ministry, and she is very grateful for making that possible for ours. I want to end my letter asking for your prayers for my family so that our trip to the coast will be fruitful this year. I send you my best wishes.
Yours truly
Ofelia Veronica Tzoy Calachij
