My Story

Hello! Good afternoon. I send you many greetings and hugs. I am so happy to write this letter and share a little about my family and me. I am very well and my family too. My father works as a farmer and a day laborer with our neighbors. Also, he grows corn, tomatoes, black beans and some herbs. Furthermore he works as a bricklayer. Thank God with his effort we can buy our food. My mother raises domestic animals like hens and pigs. Moreover she cooks our food. I have eleven siblings, five sisters and six brothers. The youngest attend primary school and some of my sisters are already married. Other two brothers traveled to the United States and thank goodness they give us economic support.

I want to ask for your prayers for my mother´s health because she is having some health problems and she went to the doctor. It seems that she needs a surgery but for now she is taking natural medicines and she feels a little better. Please, pray for her health and our Lord can do a miracle in her life. I no longer attend school some years ago and I finished sixth grade of primary school of primary school in 2015. I could not continue with my studies due to our lack of money and my parents were not able to support me. Actually, I help my father with our crops or doing the household chores at home. In the afternoon I like to listen to music or watching TV programs. I like to embroider typical clothes that can be size of a napkin or as a big as a table clothes. I like to prepare our food. Christmas is so special for my family and me because on December 24th is one of my sisters birthday. We celebrate it with a delicious cake, tamales and ponche de frutas (typical food and hot fruit punch) and we share cheerful time all together at home. We buy some firecrackers and colored bombs. It was so special for us, the last one we did exchange gift and also we did some dynamics. It was so cheerful for each one. In my church are preparing us for sing praises and share with other young people. My desire is to be a Christian singer and serve our Lord in this way. We attend Catholic Church and I have the privilege to be part of one choir. I want to ask for your prayers for my family and especially for me and I can continue seeking and serving our Lord. Take care of yourself. I say good bye to you for now. May God blesses your life!

With much love
