My Story

This is Yesica Candelaria Cux Ramos, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. Thankfully, we are now members of Full Gospel Church, and we attend services on Saturday. We are grateful to LW Evangelism team because they took time to share the gospel with us. We have hens, turkeys and pigs at home, and we sell them when they grow up. We grow corn, black beans and bananas for the family consumption. We are a humble family, and our greatest needs are groceries and food. My father’s name is Rolando. He is 35 years old, and he is in good health. He works as a day laborer, and he sometimes goes to pick coffee beans at the coast for three months. My mother’s name is Maria. She is 34 years old, and she is in good health too. She works hard at home and looks after our domestic animals.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 13 years old, and I am healthy. I am in 5^th grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because it is easier to learn the lessons. Sometimes, my father does not have much work, so there are times that it is difficult for him to cover my school expenses. I want to work in a tortillas business when I am older. My favorite celebration is Christmas because everything is beautiful. I share a small snack with my family for my birthday. I prefer cycling as a sport, and I love drinking strawberry juice. I would like to learn English someday. Living Water is a great blessing for me because I receive delicious meals twice a week. I hope to hear from you soon.
