It is a blessing for me to greet you through this. I am Keily Melissa Morales Xon, and I am ten years old. This year I am in fourth grade, and I am attending school two days per week. On those days I hand in my schoolwork to the teacher from the study guides I work at home. It has been difficult for me to learn to read and write, but little by little I have been improving. In my free time I help clearing tables in the place my parents own where food is sold. I get there in three minutes by walking. My father sells fruits and vegetables to support my family economically. My mom tends the small business they own. Sometimes, we go out somewhere, and other times we stay home. We celebrated Christmas as a family with tamales and fruit punch. At the moment, we are attending Fire of God Church, located fifteen minutes from home. My parents are deacons in the church. The time the church was closed due to the pandemic, we felt calm because God had control over it.
We rent a house with seven rooms and a separate kitchen. The house’s walls are made of cement block, its roof made of concrete and its floor of ceramic. It does have electricity and running water. The house condition is good. The pandemic affected us a lot since sales dropped, and we had losses. My parents had to pay the few workers and pay the rent for the house. They were difficult times. I am very grateful to the feeding program for the grocery bags we received in those moments. It was all a great blessing for my family and me because food supplies are a great need at home, and so are study expenses and the payment of the rent of the house. Thank you very much for this support. May God bless you greatly! Currently, we are all doing well, thank God. Finally, I want you to know I gave this information to an Evangelism team member to share with you my last news. I say goodbye to you for now. Thank you for your time reading this.
Lots of affection,
Keily Melissa Morales Xon
