My Story

Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus and hoping you are doing fine. My mother`s name is Maria Mendoza Mendoza. She is 33 years old. At the moment, she does chores at home and takes care of the family. My father`s name is Pedro Mejia Ixcotoyac. He is 36 years old. Currently, he earns a living by working as a farmer in order to help us financially. I want to let you know that we continue attending the Nazarene Christian Church every Thursday and Sunday. Thank you to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with my mother and for their encouraging words during the visit. We are very grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. In this opportunity, I want to ask for your prayers for my father because he suffers from some hernias.  Unfortunately, he visited the doctor, but he is not taking medicine due to a lack of financial resources. I want to tell you that thank God, the rest of my family and I are in good health.

I am Maynor Mejia Mendoza, and I am 13 years old. This year, I am in 5th grade at school. I receive face-to-face classes every day. I am learning a lot with this study method, but I prefer homeschooling because I like to stay at home. Thank God, my father is making an effort to support me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that he does not have a stable job. I speak Spanish where I live, so I would like to learn English; I think this is a very interesting language. In the future, I want to become a policeman. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because I like to light fireworks and the typical food from my village at that time. I like to drink only water. I want to tell you that we have 1 cat at home.  What I like for my birthday is to eat delicious food and share it with my family. Among sports, I prefer soccer. As a humble family, our current needs are groceries and our own house to live in someday. Thank you for the Christmas gift that I received at the end of the year through LW, and I hope you like to read my letter. May God bless you richly!

Warm regards,

Maynor Mejia Mendoza
