My Story

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus and hope you have a blessed and beautiful day alongside your loved ones. In this opportunity, I want to share some news about my family and me through this letter. First of all, my family and I are grateful to Living Water because thanks to your support I receive medical and dental attention in the clinics. In addition, I have a meal and spiritual support at the Feeding Program. I want to tell you that we are attending the Prince of Peace Church every Sunday and Thursday. As a family, we are grateful to the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words to me during the visit.  So, I am sure of my salvation in Jesus. My mother`s name is Balvina Ordoñez Ruiz. She is 32 years old. Currently, she works as a maid for others. Moreover, she raises hens, pigs, and sheep to sell and help my father with home expenses. My father´s name is Isaias Chingo. He is 48 years old. He earns a living by working as a farmer and cutting firewood with his chainsaw. In addition, he grows corn for our family´s consumption. Sometimes the corn is not enough for our family. As a humble family, our current needs are corn, groceries, and clothes. Thank God, my family and I are in good health.

My name is Caty Celina Chingo Ordoñez and I am 11 years old. This year, I am in 3^rd grade at school. I receive face-to-face classes every day and I am learning about homework with this study method. At the moment, my parents are making an effort to support me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that they do not have a stable job. Sometimes it is very difficult for them to buy a backpack and school fees. My favorite season of the year is winter because I like rain. I do not celebrate my birthday due to a lack of financial resources. Thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive through LW Adopt-A-Child every December.  I hope you enjoy my letter.
