My Story

My name is Marvin Leonel and it is a blessing to greet you through this letter. I hope everything is going well in your life. Let me tell you that my grandma, Maria Victoria Ordonez Monroy, and I attend the Catholic Church every Sunday. I want you to know that LW has helped us a lot. For instance, a teacher of the evangelism team shared the gospel with me. That encouraged me to continue growing spiritually. As you know, my father did not live with me, but he tried to keep in touch with me. Sadly, he passed away about eight months ago because a gasoline container exploded on his face. His name was Marvin Orlando Garcia Equite. Let me tell you that my mother decided to travel to the United States to get better job opportunities. She went to that country last year on December 31st. Her name is Lesbia Marisol Hernandez Ordonez and she is 30 years old. She is a healthy woman who works as a domestic employee. Therefore, I am under the care of my grandmother who is 52 years old. Our greatest needs are groceries and prayers because we need God’s grace to move forward.

I am fourteen years old and this year, I am in sixth grade. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because I enjoy spending time with my friends at recess. I praise the Lord because my mother has been able to support my school supplies. I would love to study gastronomy to become a successful chef. My favorite holiday is Christmas because I love that time full of happiness. I had my birthday in February. What I love the most is having a delicious cake to celebrate a new year of life with my family. To end this letter, I want you to know that I gave all this information to a teacher of the evangelism team because I wanted to share it with you. I forgot to tell you that we have three dogs at home as pets. I say goodbye to you now, but I hope to tell you about my pets someday.
