My Story

Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you by this letter. In this opportunity, I want to share with you a little about my family and me. My name is Jefferson David Silva Carcamo and I am 13 years old. At the moment, we are not attending a church. Thank you to the LW evangelism team who encouraged my family with their words. My mother`s name is Brenda Janett Carcamo. She is 31 years old. Nowadays, she continues selling food for lunch with my grandmother in order to support home expenses. As you know, my father does not live with us. I want to ask for your prayers because my mother suffers from seizures. Fortunately, she visited the doctor, and she is taking medicine. Thank God, the rest of my family and me are in good health. As a humble family, our current needs are groceries and beds.

This year I am in 6th grade. I enjoy attending school and receiving face-to-face classes every day and I understand a lot about the subjects. My mother strives to support my brothers and me at school even though she does not have a stable job. Nowadays, school fees are expensive and sometimes it is difficult for her to cover all expenses. My dream is to become a professional soccer player.  I speak Spanish but I would like to learn French; I think this is an interesting language. I enjoy celebrating Christmas because I light fireworks.  What I like to do for my birthday is to eat fried chicken (it is my favorite meal) with my family. I like to drink Coca-Cola. Among sports, I prefer soccer. My family and I are so grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive at the end of the year. May God bless and reward you greatly!

Huge hugs,

Jefferson David Silva Carcamo
