My Story

Hello, everybody! My full name is Ana Maribel Grave Garcia and I am so excited to share my information with you. Before I continue, I want you to know that my mother helped me to compose this letter. I am 11 years old and I am in third grade at school. I prefer the hot weather rather than cold because I like going to the river. In my free time, I usually help my mother to do some chores like making tortillas. I am lucky because I have enjoyed delicious meals at the feeding program for a long time. What I like the most about receiving Bible lessons is praying and singing. I want you to know that my whole family and I are in good health. My father works hard as a farmer and day laborer in our village to bring food home. My mother also works hard to contribute to the chores. She weaves typical clothes and raises sheep and chickens to sell.

In order to earn and extra income, my whole family and I usually travel to the coast and work at a coffee farm for the last two months of the year. We share the expenses with my paternal grandmother since we live at her house. My family and I still do not attend any church. Therefore, brother Mario (a member of the LW staff) shared the gospel with her recently. LW-Adopt A Child has been a great blessing for many children in my village. She enrolled me there because she wanted me to enjoy the benefits she had when she was a child. She also liked the Bible lessons before having her meals.
