My Story

Hello! I greet you in the name of Jesus and I hope you are doing fine alongside your loved ones. I want to share with you a little about my family and me. I am Jordy Osvaldo Lopez Cardona, and I am 16 years old. At the moment, we are not attending any church. Thank you to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with my mother and for their encouraging words to her during the visit.  My mother´s name is Olinda Yadira Cardona.  She is 40 years old. She does chores at home and takes care of us. My father´s name is Esvin Humberto Lopez. He is 45 years old. He earns a living by working in a warehouse. I want to tell you that we have 1 dog and 2 cats at home as our pets. As a humble family, our priority needs are groceries, a bed, and a wardrobe. Thank God my family and I are in good health.

This year I am in the 9^th grade at school. I am receiving face-to-face classes every day and I learn a lot with this study method.  At the moment, school fees are expensive, but my father is making an effort to support me with school expenses. My dream is to become a chef. I speak Spanish where I live, but I would like to learn English which is an interesting language. My favorite season of the year is winter because I like to play with balls on a rainy day. I enjoy drinking hibiscus juice. What I like to do for my birthday is to go out to eat with my family when my parents have a little extra money. Among sports, I prefer soccer.  My family and I are so grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive every December. May God bless you and take care of you!
