My Story

I am glad to say hello to you through this letter. My name is Jefferson Gabriel and I hope everything is running well in your life. Let me tell you that I live with my parents and two siblings. We attend a Christian Church called Peniel. We usually have services on Thursdays and Sundays. I want to use this opportunity to tell you that LW is an important project because the staff shares God’s news and provides much help to many families like mine. My father’s name is Cesar Augusto Velasquez Ramirez and he is 40 years old. He makes a living as a mechanic. To get extra income, my mother sells clothes and beauty products. Her name is Magda Gabriela Dorantes Gudiel and she is 38 years old. She is a diabetic woman and has not felt good lately. My father has had to buy insulin so that she can get shots. The rest of my family and I are doing well. My dad loves our family and does his best to support us. However, we are passing through hard economic moments. Our greatest needs are groceries. We have one lovely cat and colorful fish at home as pets. 

I am in seventh grade this year. I am glad to receive face-to-face classes because I enjoy attending school and understand the lessons so much better. My favorite sport is soccer. I would love to become a successful soccer player when I am older. My favorite holiday is Christmas because I enjoy burning firecrackers. I love drinking Coca-Cola. I would love to learn a new language like English. I hope to accomplish it someday. There are many fun things that I can do to celebrate my birthday, but having a delicious cake and receiving gifts are the things that I enjoy the most. I am thirteen years old.
