My Story

Hello! My name is Yeimi Guadalupe and I am excited to greet you through this letter. I hope you are having a fantastic day. My family and I attend the Catholic Church every Sunday. Before sharing more about my life with you, I want to use this opportunity to express my gratitude to LW. It is a meaningful project because my family and I receive worthy support. For instance, a teacher of the evangelism team shared the gospel with me while he was collecting all this information. As you know, my father separated from my mother many years ago. He does not support our needs or keep in touch with my sister and me. Fortunately, my mother came back to live with us. Her name is Diana Ordonez and she is 31 years old. She works on San Sebastian Farm by picking macadamia to support our needs. While she works, my grandparents take care of us. I love them a lot because they have been like my second parents.

By God’s grace, we are all healthy. We have two lovely cats as pets. I am so happy because this year, I am in eighth grade. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because teachers explain the lessons better. Although my mother does her best for my sister and me, she sometimes cannot buy all the school supplies. Our greatest needs are groceries. I would love to become a nurse and speak English when I am older. The summer season is my favorite because I love playing with water. I turned fifteen years old in September. What I love the most is having a delicious cake to celebrate a new year of life with my family. Soccer is the most popular sport in my country, but my favorite is basketball. I say goodbye to you for now, but if you want to know something else about my life, feel free to ask me. See you later!
