My Story

Hi! It is a pleasure to greet you cordially through this letter. I want to share with you a little about my family and me. I am Lester Josue Oliverio Valenzuela Ical and I am 13 years old. At the moment, we are not attending any church. As you know, I live only with my mother because my father abandoned the family some years ago. My father´s name is Herber Josue Valenzuela. Fortunately, he is contributing financially to our home expenses. He works as a battery distributor. My stepfather is also separated from my mother and we do not know anything about him. My mother´s name is Jessica Beatriz Ical.  She is 38 years old.  This year she continues working as a teacher. I want to tell you that we have 1 dog and 1 cat at home as our pets. As a humble family, our priority needs are school fees. Thank God, all my family and I are in good health.

This year I am in 7th grade at school. I am receiving face-to-face classes every day and I learn a lot with this study method because my teachers give us good teaching. At the moment, school fees are expensive, but my mother is making an effort to support my siblings and me with school expenses. My dream is to become a lawyer.  I speak Spanish where I live, but I would like to learn English which is an interesting language. My favorite season of the year is summer because I love to go out to ride a bike and I am on vacation from school. I enjoy drinking Coca-Cola. What I like to do for my birthday is eat delicious snacks. Among sports, I prefer soccer, but I like to ride a bike in my spare time. My family and I are so grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive every December. May God bless you greatly!

Huge hugs,

Lester Josue Oliverio Valenzuela Ical
