My Story

Hello! I am Alexander, and I am writing these few lines to tell you about my family and me. Let’s start with my family. We are sharing our house with my paternal grandparents. We are members of the Catholic Church, and we are motivated to attend it because we are united like a big family; we visit and help each other in times of need. We trust in God, and we have received Him in our hearts, so we believe we will enter His Kingdom someday. I would like to ask for your prayers for our health and for my parents’ economic situation. My father works as a farmer and day laborer, and he goes to cut sugar cane at the coast for 6 months. My mother works as a weaver and raises hens and pigs for selling. She also does the household chores. My parents are in good health, and so am I. I am attending school, and I am in 3^rd grade this year. At home, I help to gather firewood.

In the future, I would like to become a musician and serve God in this way. I like both summer and winter season. I have been attending the feeding program for 2 years, and I like the Bible classes because I learn a lot of things. I tell you that my mom was part of the program when she was younger, and she remembers the nice and quiet environment there; she enjoyed the delicious lunches. Due to her good experience there, she wanted us to enjoy it too. She helped me with this letter for you, and I hope you like it.
