Hi! I greet you cordially and hope you have a successful and blessed day. I want to share a little about my family and me in this opportunity. My mother`s name is Rosa Quino Hernandez. She is 46 years old. At the moment, she continues doing chores at home and takes care of the family. Moreover, she raises hens, cows, and pigs at home. In this opportunity, I want to ask for your prayers for her because she continues suffering from a hernia in her stomach. Fortunately, she visited the doctor, but she is not taking medicine due to a lack of money. My father´s name is Marcos Larios Cux. He is 46 years old. He continues working as a mechanic in his own mechanic workshop in order to support us financially. As a humble family, our current needs are corn and groceries. We grow corn and black beans for our family`s consumption. Nowadays, we continue attending the Assembly of God Church once a week. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words to my mother during the visit. So, she has Jesus in her heart. In this opportunity, I want to ask for your prayers for my total recovery from the accident that I suffered. I had surgery on my right arm and leg. I am trying to move more and more every day. As you know, By the grace of God, the rest of my family is in good health.
I am Maria Wendy Larios Quino. I am 10 years old. This year I am in 1st grade at school. I am homeschooled due to the accident that I had last year. Nowadays, my father is making an effort to support my siblings and me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that he does not have a stable job. Sometimes, it is very difficult to cover every expense. In the future, I want to become a teacher or nurse. My native language is the Quiche Mayan dialect, so I would like to learn Spanish in order to improve my communication with others. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because our custom is to eat “tamales” (a typical dish). What I like to drink is “mosh” (a hot beverage made of oatmeal) and “Incaparina” (a hot drink made of soy and corn flour). For my birthday I like to eat a delicious cake and to get some gifts. Among sports, I prefer soccer. My family is grateful to Living Water because I receive the meals, medical and dental attention, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that you sent to me at the end of the year. May God bless you greatly!
Huge hugs,
Maria Wendy Larios Quino
