My Story

Good afternoon! My full name is Aurelio Ruiz Mendez and I am happy to belong to the Feeding Program for four years. My parents enrolled me when they heard about the great blessing for many children in need from our village. I like to attend the Bible classes because we pray to God. My parents are grateful because the Ministry has blessed many families from Chuchuca.

I live with my parents, older brothers, sisters-in-law and nephews, and they share their expenses with my parents. My mother is a housewife and a weaver, and she also raises and sells hens, pigs and sheep to contribute to the home expenses. My father is a farmer and day laborer. Furthermore, he travels to the coast to pick coffee beans from November to February and earns extra money to sustain the family. My whole family and I are in good health. I help my father doing farm jobs. I am thirteen and I am in 5^th grade this year. I love hot and cold weather because both of them are needed for us. I love to sing in my church.

As a family, we persevere in the Church of Christ. We like the visits from our spiritual leaders because they encourage us to continue following God. We are secure in our salvation in Jesus because only by his sacrifice can we have his forgiveness and be his children. My mother shared this information to the LW teacher and she would like to ask for your prayers for provision and health for my whole family.
