My Story

My name is Aisha Rosmeri, and I am glad to say hello to you through this means. I hope this finds you doing well wherever you are. I live with my mom. We still attend Refuge of the Lamb Church. We usually do it on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Sundays. Unfortunately, my father continues in prison. His full name is Jose Antonio Mijangos, and he is 33 years old. My mom is Rosalina Santizo Cano, and she is 34 years old. She is a healthy woman who works hard by selling clothes and different items to support me. Our economic situation has always been hard. Some of our greatest needs are a new bed and groceries. Despite that, we praise the Lord for his mercy and love. We have seen his powerful hand throughout LW. The staff has shared the gospel and helped us a lot, especially in the challenging moments.

Now, I want to tell you a little bit more about me. I am a 15-year-old healthy lady. This year, I returned to school as a seventh grader. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because it helps me to learn the lessons much better. If I have questions, I can ask for help from the teacher. My dreams are to become a doctor and speak English. Therefore, I would love to count on your prayers for me. My favorite holiday is Christmas because I love spending that lovely time with my family. I like drinking hibiscus tea and horchata. My favorite sport is basketball. I love having a delicious cake to celebrate my birthday with my family. To end this letter, let me tell you that my mom and I gave all this information to a member of the AAC staff. I say goodbye to you for now but thank you so much for reading my letter.

Sincerely yours,

Aisha Rosmeri Mijangos Santizo
