My Story

It is a privilege to write this letter for you. My full name is Dylan Daniel De La Cruz Chingo, and I am excited to tell you about my life. I hope this finds you in good health. I am 13 years old. I am in seventh grade at school. I have classes in morning, and then I help my father to look after our small poultry farm. We cover our needs and expenses, thanks to the farm. My mom is a housewife. She does her best to help my father with her income. She sells homemade snacks at school. Fortunately, none of them is sick. We attend Ebenezer Church. I am glad because my parents accepted Jesus many years ago. I also did it about three years ago. My family has the blessing to serve at church; my mom leads the services, and my father sings.

Now, I want you to know that LW has impacted my life in a very positive way. I can receive medicine at the LW clinics for free. That has been possible thanks to many good hearted people like you who support this project. I love having delicious food at the feeding program. My favorite food is fried chicken. Last year, I received a Christmas gift at LW. I enjoyed it a lot together with my family. I say goodbye to you for now, but I want to tell you that my mom helped me to write this for you. We ask you to pray for us. In advance, thank you so much!
