My Story

Hello and greetings. Thank you for reading my history which I am telling by asking the questions that the team of Adopt a Child is asking me and my mother. My name is Ergi. I am doing well and am healthy child. My birthday is on July 2^nd and I am 9 years old. My favorite color is gray or black. When my mother buys for me clothes or shoes, these are the colors I usually chose. My future dreams are two. I like to become an artist and play in movies. On the other side, I also love football and in the future I like to play together with a team of an well known club. I follow a lot of matches of different football championships that are going on and play outside football with my friends. I go to third grade of school and enjoy learning. My favorite subject is Mathematics. I enjoy going to school and have a lot of friends from my class that I meet and engage to play football. Sometimes I meet and we cycle around the town, even that not too far from my house. I like cycling and I like to stay outside playing for a long while. When I go in the house, after I study for the next day of school, I like to help my mother with the cleaning. I take the trash out for her and do shopping. I live together with my mother in a house which she has rented. My parents are divorced and I am taken under the care of my mother. I see my father from time to time, as scheduled and he is also helping me a bit financially. My mother has been hired from individual families to clean their houses. She gets paid less and we get a very low income, but we appreciate this amount. With this amount she pays rent, bills and she buys what we consume. We are challenged financially and I am thankful to the sponsorship program being an opportunity of help and care. I receive every six weeks a food package, which is a provision of 12 meals for my mother and me. I am happy also to join in the Bible classes every Sunday and receive spiritual care through the church of Living Water. Usually I come together with my mother who stays for the service and she is following another Bible study for ladies during Saturdays.
