My Story

I excitedly say hello through this letter, hoping you are having a precious day wherever you are. This is Joshua Ricardo, and it is a privilege to share my life with you. I faithfully attend Liberty Church along with my family on Sundays. I have the opportunity of attending the feeding program where I receive tasty food and medicines. Therefore, my family and I are grateful. Besides that, a teacher of the evangelism team collected this information for you while he shared the gospel with my mother. I love my parents because they do their best for our family. My father, Guliver Lopez, is 32 years old. He makes a living as a mechanic while my mother works as a domestic employee in Jocotenango town. Her name is Silvia Tecun, and she is 34 years old. Thankfully, they are healthy. I am twelve years old, and my health is in good condition. To celebrate my birthday, I love having a party, eating a delicious cake, and candies.

I am a sixth grader, and I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because I can spend time with my friends. Unfortunately, my father does not have a stable job, and there are many demanding expenses to cover at home. Our priorities are food supplies. Therefore, it has been a little hard for him to support my school supplies. I look forward to becoming a businessman when I am older, so I would like to count on your prayers. I like wearing warm clothes, especially for the rainy season, which is my favorite. Learning a new language like English catches my attention, so I would like to do it someday. I like drinking hibiscus tea, and my favorite sport is soccer. I wonder what is yours? Thank you so much for reading my letter! I hope to hear your answer and a little about your life soon.
