My Story

Hello, I greet you in the name of Jesus and I trust he is taking care of you! I am Javier Alejandro Lopez Perez. I am now 16 years old. This year I started my professional career to become an accountant. I receive my classes in the morning. I spend my weekends playing football and playing my trumpet. My favorite meal is Chow Mein. My father makes a living by working as an accounting assistant and he is the one who supplies our needs. In my mother´s case, she stays busy with the chores at home.

My family and I are very thankful for all the support I receive through the feeding program. I am so blessed to receive food and medical care. Someday, I would like to join the LW staff and serve. I think it is an exceptional labor of helping others. We are Christians and attend Grace Treasures Church. My parents and I accepted Jesus into our hearts, and I play the trumpet at church. We appreciate the encouraging words that LW staff gave us this time. We are fairly well at home, nevertheless, I want you to pray for my brother Santiago´s health, and mine. My brother suffers from convulsions and needs medicines to stay well. As for me, I have to go for a checkup very frequently in “UNICAR” (Guatemala Cardiovascular Surgery Unit) because of my heart problem. Let me tell you that my mother gave this information to the LW staff to share news about me. Hoping you like my letter. Every blessing for you!
