My Story

Many greetings! In this opportunity, I want to start by expressing my gratitude to you for taking the time to read my information. My full name is Cristian Omar Gonzalez Quexel and I am 11 years old. I am in fourth grade and I usually do some household chores to help my mother. Thankfully, I am in good health. I like both cold and hot weather and I have attended the feeding program for many years. LW-Adopt A Child has blessed me with food as well as medical and dental care, which my parents really appreciate. Thankfully, I have a lovely and healthy family. My father works hard as a farmer to bring food home, while my mother keeps busy doing the chores and taking care of my brother and me. My grandmother also lives with us. She contributes to cover the electricity and running water expenses.

To earn an extra income, my family and I usually work by cutting coffee beans at a farm from November to February. We are glad to be part of the Catholic Church because we have learned to look for God in every moment of life. I am grateful to sister Princesa (a member of the LW staff) because she shared the gospel with my father to strength his confidence about the salvation that Jesus gave him by mercy and love. It is time to say goodbye, but I kindly ask you to pray for my whole family and me so that God keeps us healthy. Until next time!
