My Story

Hello! I feel excited to greet you through this letter and tell you about my life. I am Wilson, and I live with my family in a village called La Vega. For families like mine, it is common to have domestic animals and crops. We raise hens and grow corn for the family consumption. Our basic needs are groceries and clothes. My parents work hard to support us. My father, who is 40 years old, works as a day laborer, and my mother, who is 37 years old, works as a maid. Their names are Domingo and Estela, and they are healthy. Once a week, we attend the mass at the Catholic Church, and we are assured of our Salvation.

I want to express my gratitude to Living Water for the support received through the lunches. I pray God blesses you for that. Thank the Lord, I am in good health, and I already turned 6 this year. I am studying and I am in kindergarten. I learn more now that I am attending school in person; I prefer this method. I know that it has been difficult for my parents to support me with my studies, but they are doing their best. I want to work in a company when I am older. I enjoy a delicious lunch when it is my birthday. My favorite sport is football, and I love drinking “mosh” (hot beverage made from oats). I like Christmas time because of the presents. Well, I end my letter wishing you the best.

With much love
