Zacualpa
Guatemala
Child
I lovingly greet you from beautiful Zacualpa town. How are you doing? My full name is Dulce Lucero Perez Cabrera, and I feel blessed because I still have my grandmother and great-grandmother with me! They are my relatives on my mother’s side. They are sweet ladies. I like their way of being. Fortunately, they are doing well now. I feel worried when they get sick because their recovery is not as fast as it used to be when they were young. When that happens, we pray and trust that God will heal them. I am a healthy 12-year-old girl. I attend school as a sixth grader. My best friend’s name is Vanesa. I met her about three years ago. We love playing freeze tag in our free time.
I live with my mom, stepfather, and young sister. Fortunately, they are doing well. My biological father is also doing well. My sister and I spend time with him on Sundays. I do not know how he makes a living, but I am sure he works hard to help us economically. As for my mom, let me tell you that she is dedicated to taking care of our family, while her husband works as a day laborer to bring the daily bread to our home. We attend a Christian Church. I have learned that God is my Savior. There are engaging activities at church, but our favorites are the baptisms. Thank you so much for reading my letter! My mom and I were glad to give all this information to LW just for you. See you later!
With much love,
Dulce Lucero Perez Cabrera
