My Story

Hello! I am Abner and I am glad to greet you through this update. I hope you are doing well. Let me tell you that my family and I do not attend any church at the moment. Fortunately, I could listen to God’s news thanks to a teacher of the LW evangelism team. The teacher encouraged me to look for the Almighty through the gospel; I was grateful for his kind words. As you know, my father separated from my mother many years ago. His name is Erick Marroquin and he is 36 years old. Nowadays, he makes a living as a jeweler. He occasionally helps my family and me economically. Therefore, my mother has to work hard to cover our needs. Her name is Monica Pena and she is 34 years old. She works as a babysitter here in Jocotenango. Our economic situation is weak to cover our demanding needs. We need groceries at home. Fortunately, the feeding program has helped us a lot when we have needed the most.

I am nine years old and my next birthday will be in December. I love having a modest birthday to celebrate with my family. I attend school as a third-grade student. I prefer face-to-face classes because I learn more. Besides that, I enjoy spending time with my friends. My education level is a little bit more demanding economically, so it has been hard for my mother to cover my school supplies. My biggest dream is to become a policeman when I am older. I also would love to speak English and French. Therefore, I would like to count on your prayers to accomplish my goals. I love Christmas time because I have fun burning firecrackers. My favorite drink is passion fruit juice and my favorite sport is soccer. To end this letter, I want you to know that the evangelism teacher also collected all this information for you.
