Hello! I send you special greetings and I hope you are enjoying the rich blessings from our Lord. I am so happy to share with you that my family is in good health. We are four siblings who attend feeding program. My father is day laborer and works as a bricklayer. Also, he travels to the coast to pick coffee beans. On my school vacation, my siblings and I travel with him. My mother does not travel with us because I have younger siblings and she stays at home with them. My mother is a housewife and weaves typical items to sell. Furthermore she raises domestic animals like chickens, pigs and turkeys. When we have some needs she sells them. My family and I attend Assembly of God Church and I attend with my mother. I like to go because I learn some praises.
I love to attend the feeding program and enjoy the delicious food that I receive. My favorite is fried chicken with rice and ketchup. My mother does not cook fried chicken very often, so for that reason I love to eat in the program. Also, I like to learn about our Lord Jesus in the Bible classes. This year I am moving forward in my studies, but right now it is a little hard for me to learn how to write and read. I know that I need to do my best in order to learn as much as I can. Between all the celebrations in my country, the one that I like the most is Christmas because all the families are together, lighting firecrackers and fireworks, and everybody cooks tamales (typical food). Also, I receive a gift in the feeding program and it makes me feel so happy with my family. I am so young and I do not know what I would like to be when I grow up. I hope to find out through time. Thank you very much for blessing me through Living Water, and I pray our Lord blesses you in a big way. Take care of yourself and I hope to hear from you soon. May God bless you and take care of you!
With much love
Jose Israel Benito Portuguez
