My Story

Hello! this is a nice day to greet you in the name of Jesus. My name is Mario de la Cruz Pastor. I am eleven years old and I want you to know that my family and I are doing well and enjoying good health. I am not studying because it is so difficult for me to learn, but I am so happy because I will be able to help my father with some duties in his job. Through this, I can feel the love of our Lord in my heart because my father loves me so much. Jesus is my friend and he forgives my sins. Thankfully, my family and I attend the Church of Christ, and we like to participate in every activity there. LW team encouraged my mother to continue growing in our faith in Jesus and she helped to collect this information.

My mother`s name is Felisa. She supports my father with the home expenses by selling her domestic animals, and sometimes, she washes clothing for others to cover some of our needs. My father Baltazar is working as a farmer and day laborer. I identify with him because I spend time helping him with many duties.

I have a best friend and his name is Eliseo. We like to play football together and we have been friends since we were younger. I will say good bye to you for now, but I hope to have your news soon. Have a nice day!
