Hello, it’s a pleasure to greet you! My name is Marvin Dany Emmanuel De la Cruz Garcia, and I would like to share some information about myself. I am 16 years old, and I am in 9th grade at school. I am in the Barbara Ford Program doing social services in the health center. I do this Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm. On the weekends I help my mom with the housework and chores. My mother’s name is Petrona Maribel Garcia. She along with my grandmother, makes refreshment snacks to sell. My father’s name is Marvin de la Cruz Garcia. He and my mother separated a few years ago, but he still supports us economically by sending money every week. At home, we raise chickens so we can sell them, and we grow corn for our own consumption.
We are very grateful for the work of the Living Water ministry. We have been blessed by the meal we receive weekly and the medicine we can get when we need it. My favorite food to eat at the program is the fried chicken. At the Christmas celebration, my favorite part is receiving our wonderful gift. As a family, we attend the United Pentecostal Church, as we have for many years. My mother serves regularly as a deaconess and a youth pastor. She is very sure in her faith, and she prays for the salvation of me and my sisters. We also ask for your prayers for our studies and our wellbeing. I say goodbye now, wishing you many blessings and good health. Thank you for taking the time to read about me today.
God bless you,
Marvin Dany Emmanuel De la Cruz Garcia
