My Story

Good morning! It is a great blessing for me to be part of the feeding program from Living Water. My name is Abdiel Andre Ortiz Tunchez. I will turn 15 years old in August. My family and I attend Mount Hebron Church, and I am in the youth group. Jesus is my friend and savior. My mother makes a living as a cashier and she is the only one who covers the home expenses. It is very hard for her because she works at night and returns very tired. Unfortunately, due to her age, the job opportunities are limited. My loved ones and I are in good health.

I am so grateful to my mom for the sacrifices she makes to support me at school; she usually saves money in October, November and December to be able to pay for the enrollment at school, uniforms and school supplies. This year, I am attending 9^th grade. I have a friend named Javier; we like to share our meals. We have been friends for 4 years. My grandma is my confident, and she has been with me since I was very young; I love her so much. Let me tell you that I had the opportunity to go to the beach; the sea is huge and amazing. God provided the resources to go and took care of us during the trip; we are so grateful for it. We are so grateful for the support we receive through the program; we are sure they do it with much love, and our Lord will reward everyone.
