My name is Juliana Marleny. I am 16 years old, and I am living along with my family. I attend 8th grade and I receive my classes online. I have to deliver my homework to my teacher twice a week. Studying from home is very complicated for me because I do not understand my lessons. I am doing my best to move forward in my studies. My father earns a living by farming the land, and my mother is a housewife. She also looks after cows and pigs.
Thanks to God, the covid-19 pandemic has not affected my family´s income since my father has had a job, but it has affected us in our studies. In spite of the difficulties, we are sure that our Lord has never left us alone. We are deeply thankful to Living Water / Adopt A Child who have blessed us with groceries which are really helpful for us. My family and I want to give thanks to you and LW staff for the hard work they do to deliver help to children during the pandemic. Thank God, my family and I are healthy and nobody has been infected with covid-19 so far. We are Catholics but due to the pandemic, we are not attending. I want to let you know that a member of the AAC team called my mother, Maria Ventura by phone to get this updated information since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic. I hope you keep safe. Many blessings!
Lots of hugs,
Juliana Marleny Benito Ventura
