Hello, my name is Silvia Carolina, and I am writing this letter to tell you how I am. I turned 12 in November, and I am well. Thankfully, I am doing a good job at school, and I am in 5th grade this year; I study in the morning. I help with the household chores on weekends. I have been blessed with lunches at the feeding program, and there, my favorite dish is fried chicken. The Christmas celebration is one of my favorite activities at the program, especially for the praises and games. I would like to ask for your prayers for my family, especially for my father and his work.
I only live with my mother since my father is abroad. My father works as a gardener in the United States, and he faithfully sends money for our needs. My mother works as a weaver to help with the income. We raise hens and sheep for selling, and we grow corn for our consumption; but it is not enough so we buy the rest. We are a family who believes in God, and we attend Church of Christ. My paternal grandparents, Benito and Silvia, live with us, and we share the home expenses with them. In this occasion, my grandma helped me to give my information to an Evangelism teacher. I say goodbye to you for now hoping to have news from you soon.
With much love
Silvia Carolina Gomez Chingo
