My Story

Hello, I hope you are doing well along with your loved ones. I am happy to be able to greet you through this short update of information. I am Olga Elizabeth Castro Tzoy. I am 12 years old, and I am in fifth grade. Thankfully, I am doing well along with my family. We are all healthy by the grace of God. My dad’s name is Eusebio Castro Tiquiram. He is a farmer. He is the one who primarily supports our family with what he earns. My mom is also able to provide a little bit with what she earns from selling animals like chickens. Her name is Juana Tzoy Chanchavac. She is a housewife, so she is able to spend more time taking care of the animals and the housework. I like to help her with the chores. Something that was very impactful for me was when I passed my classes last year. Doing well in school is very important to me. I worked very hard, but I know God helped me by giving me wisdom and knowledge to do well. It was very exciting to know I did well. We are finishing the year now and I hope I do well again this year. We don’t go to church anymore, but I know about God and Jesus. I know Jesus as my Healer.

He is the one who helps me. We used to go to church, but we stopped going. My mom was encouraged by the Living Water teachers to seek the Lord, and she said she wants to try going to church again. She wants to grow in her faith. I love my mom because I spend a lot of time with her. We work together to do the housework, and she is very close to me. I also have a friend that I spend time with. Her name is Ana. We love playing soccer together. She is a very good person to spend time with. Well, that is all from me for now. I hope you enjoyed reading my information.
