My Story

Receive special regards from Chixocol, Guatemala! I hope this letter finds you keeping well. I am so happy to tell you that I have attended the feeding program for about eleven years. All the support I have received has been a great blessing not only for me, but for my whole family, too. May God bless this organization richly! This is Astrid Andrea Brigith Pancha Gutierrez, and I am pleased to tell you that I was enrolled by my mother at LW-Adopt A Child because she wanted me to enjoy the benefits they offer just as she had done when she was a child. What she liked the most was learning about Jesus. Today, we are members of Liberty Church and praise the Lord’s name for his love and mercy. Fortunately, we are all healthy. I am 17 years old and I like the hot weather.

If God is willing, I will finish high school this year. I am studying a training in science and medicine. At home, I usually help my mother to clean our house and cook. She is a housewife and dedicates part of her time to her pharmacy, while my father makes a living as a bus driver. I tell you that my family and I are grateful to brother Pablo (a member of the evangelism team of LW) for encouraging us to keep going in our faith. We agreed with him that accepting Jesus as our savior is the main key to be admitted in Heaven. He added that he is assured about his salvation because of faith and the sacrifice that Jesus did when He died on the cross to pay our sins. It is time to say goodbye, but I hope this letter helped you to learn about me.
