My Story

I greet you cordially and hope you are blessed by our Lord Jesus.  I want to share some news about my family and me through this letter. I want to let you know that we continue attending the Foursquare Christian Church every Sunday and Thursday. My family is grateful to the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words during the visit. My mother`s name is Maria Cecilia Fuentes Ordoñez. She is 50 years old. Currently, she works as a farmer in order to support us due to my father’s absence. She is the only one that supplies our financial needs. Thank God, my family and I are in good health.

I am Madelyn Merary Ruiz Fuentes, and I am 12 years old. This year I am in 6th grade at school. I am receiving face-to-face classes every day, and I learn a lot due to the good explanations about homework that I have received from my teachers. At the moment, my mother is making an effort to support me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that she does not have a stable job. My dream is to become a policewoman. I speak Spanish where I live, but I would like to learn English; I think this is a very interesting language. Christmas is my favorite celebration of the year because I love the cool weather. Pepsi-Cola is what I prefer to drink. I like to eat a delicious cake and a delicious food for lunch for my birthday.  Soccer is the sport that I prefer. As a humble family, sometimes, it is so difficult for my mother to pay some home bills.  My family and I are grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed in our lives for instance with the meals, medical and dental care and spiritual support also I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive at the end of the year. Thank you for reading my letter. May God take care of you everywhere you are!

Many hugs,

Madelyn Merary Ruiz Fuentes
