It is a pleasure for me to greet you through this. I am Brandon Diego Nas Lux, and I am fifteen years old. This year I am in 8th grade, and currently, I am receiving face-to-face classes at school every day. Not having received enough face-to-face classes last year has affected my studies. I really missed the delicious food of the feeding program during the time it was closed due to the pandemic. It is open again, thank God, so I get there in five minutes from home by walking. My father does farm work to support my family economically. My dad sells a variety of products in the local market. My mom stays home, and she also works at my grandfather’s small store. We share time as a family, and we have a good time together. On Christmas, we made tamales and fruit punch. At the moment, we attend Prince of Peace Church, located five minutes away from home by walking. The time the church was closed due to the pandemic, we got sad. Thank God, things have gradually returned to normal.
We live at my grandparents’ house, so we share the household expenses with them. There are four rooms and a separate kitchen. The house is made of cement block, the roof of cement and the floor of granite and cement. It has electricity and running water. The house condition is good. The pandemic affected us with lack of work. The grocery bags we received from the feeding program were all a great blessing for my family and me because food supplies are a great need at home. Thank you very much! For now, we are all doing well, thank God. Lastly, I want you to know that mom gave this information to an Evangelism team member to share with you my last news. I say goodbye to you for now. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Special regards,
Brandon Diego Nas Lux
