My Story

I kindly greet you, hoping that the grace of the Lord is with you and your loved ones. First, I want you to know that LW-Adopt A Child has blessed me with medicine and food for free. This is Lucero Abigail Quej Naz and I have attended the feeding program for about two years. My mother had the opportunity to enjoy her meals there when she was a child. She was also part of the youth group and what she liked the most was taking part in the competitions that they organized. I tell you that my whole family and I are in good health, which is a blessing nowadays. I live with my mother, one aunt on my mother’s side, and three siblings. I have two sisters and one brother; they are also enrolled at the feeding program. I do not have my father with me because he traveled to the United States recently. Fortunately, he is in touch with us and sends us money every month. We are glad because he has a stable job as a security guard for a company. To contribute to the expenses, my mother weaves and sells typical belts at home.

About me, I tell you that I am 12 years old and I attend the sixth grade at school. At home, I usually help to feed our domestic animals. I prefer the hot weather because I like going to the river. I like attending church with my mother because we have learned so much about God. We are members of the Full Gospel Church and my mother does not have any doubt about her salvation because she accepted Jesus in her heart many years ago. Sister Yojana (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged her to continue looking for God. To end this letter, I kindly ask you to pray for my whole family, especially for my father so that God keeps him healthy and safe. In advance, thank you so much!
