My Story

Hello! I am Deisy Mishel de la Cruz De La Cruz. I fondly greet you from the beautiful land of the eternal spring, Guatemala! How are you doing? I am 10 years old, and I am pleased to tell you that I am doing my best at school. I am in fourth grade. I am glad because I have made good friends there. My best friend’s name is Keyri. We usually gather with other children and play freeze and ball tag games during recess. I am grateful to the Lord because my family and I have been blessed with health.

My mother is dedicated to taking care of my brother and me while my father works. He is a farmer and a musician. He also rents furniture for parties to earn extra money. We are members of the Methodist Church Rock of Salvation. I like my church because I have learned that Jesus played an important role in the salvation plan. He sacrificed himself on the cross to make us free. We enjoy participating in the activities at church, especially during the Thanksgiving services for the harvest.
