My Story

Hello! It is such a blessing to greet you through this letter. How are you doing? I am Abel Estuardo Coj Gomez and I will tell you a little about my life in this opportunity. I am 14 years old, and fortunately, I am a healthy boy. I am in sixth grade and what I like the most about attending the feeding program is having delicious food and receiving medical attention for free. This is only possible thanks to the donations from many kind people like you. May God reward you richly! When I stay home, I usually help my father to work in the field, since he makes a living as a day laborer and farmer. He is the main supporter of our family, so he strives to accomplish this with his responsibilities. He usually takes two of my siblings and me to work in a coffee farm located on the south coast of our country. The work season usually starts in November and ends in February.

While we travel, my mother stays home and takes care of my youngest siblings, especially Walter since he is a boy with special needs. Could you please pray for my mother? She suffers from body pain, but she self-medicates to mitigate the issues. I am pleased to tell you that my siblings in Christ are always on the look out for our spiritual life, and that is what motivates us to continue persevering in the Good Shepherd-Source of Life Church. I want you to know that sister Sandra (a member of the LW staff) recently congratulated my sister Ingrid since she has assurance of her salvation in Jesus after accepting Him in her heart as her Lord and Savior. It is time to say goodbye, but I kindly ask you to pray for my whole family and me. Until next time!

Cordially yours,

Abel Estuardo Coj Gomez
