My Story

Hello! My heart is overjoyed for having the opportunity to share my updated information with you. I want you to know that LW-Adopt A Child has blessed me so much. I have attended the feeding program for about three years. I like receiving Bible classes alongside other children, but what I like the most is praying before eating. I am Edwin Sabino Garcia Garcia and I tell you that my mother enrolled me there because she wanted me to enjoy the same blessings she enjoyed when she was a child. She remembers that she had many friends there. Today, she is a hardworking woman who strives to contribute to the expenses. She works as a domestic employee while my brother and I attend school. I am 8 years old and attend the second grade. She is a very responsible woman because when there is a parenthood meeting at school, she asks for permission to attend it.

I tell you that my mother established a relationship with Mr. German about one year ago. He lives with us and works hard as a mason’s helper to support our family. Fortunately, my whole family and I are in good health. I tell you that we live with my grandparents, uncles, and their own families; we share the expenses with them. About our spiritual life, I tell you that we attend a nearby Christian Church. We feel comfortable to go there because we found a family. I am pleased to tell you that my mother accepted Jesus in her heart a while ago, so she is assured about her salvation. Sister Yesenmia (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged her to keep going and had the confidence to tell her that she also accepted Jesus in her heart a while ago and trusts in being admitted into Heaven. To end this letter, I tell you that I prefer cold rather than hot weather because I do not like sweating while I walk to the feeding program. See you later!
