Hello! I am Sabine Osmarie Alvarado Hernandez, and I am so thankful to you for reading my personal information. By the grace of God, my family and I are in good health. I am a 15-year-old girl. I am repeating seventh grade. I receive virtual classes 3 times per week, and in addition, I have study guides. I send my homework every week online; therefore, I need to have data in a cell phone, and I also communicate with my teacher by WhatsApp. I miss sharing time with my friends at school, but I prefer to study from home. I like it. Since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic, I am missing sharing time with my friends. I trust in God the program will be able to open again; I walk 5 minutes to arrive. My father is working for a cleaning company, and he is the one who supplies our home needs. My mother is a housewife. I love being with my family. We hardly ever go out anywhere, but we watch some movie and eat popcorn; it is cheerful. Last Christmas we celebrated by eating “tamales” (a typical dish) and lighting firecrackers.
We are attending church, and we still are having virtual services. We felt sad when we could not attend and meet up with our brethren. We own the house in which we live; we have two rooms and we cook in one of them. Those are made of wood walls, tin sheet roof and a cement floor. The house condition is not good because the wood and tin sheets are old, and we need to change them. My parents were affected in their jobs during the pandemic, which caused problems to cover our home expenses. Fortunately, we have been receiving food parcels through Living Water. It is very helpful because it contains essential daily products. At the moment, our principal needs are groceries and clothes. In closing, I want to tell you that a member from LW visited us at our home, and my mother gave him this updated information personally. I leave you for now. May God bless you!
