My Story

This is Alex Jimon Calachij, and I feel blessed to greet you and share my information with you. I am 12 years old, and my heart overflows with happiness and gratitude to the Almighty because He helped me to do a good job at school last year. I am in fifth grade now. Another blessing was having my father back in Guatemala. As you know, he lived and worked in the United States for a few years. He is doing well and works as a farmer and a day laborer in our village. I identify with him because our facial features are very similar. 

On the other hand, my mom is dedicated to taking care of our family. She also raises and sells chickens, pigs, and cows to help with the household expenses. If you ask me who Jesus is to me, I will say He is my faithful friend. I like hearing about Him at my church. We attend a nearby Catholic church. The Thanksgiving service for the harvest is one of our favorite activities. Now, let me tell you a little about my best friend. His name is Wilson, and we usually get together to play soccer. It is time to say goodbye, but I hope you found my letter engaging. I also hope to hear about your life next time.
