My Story

Hello! I greet you in the name of Jesus and I hope you and your loved ones are doing fine.  I want to tell you a little about my family and me with this letter in this opportunity.  I hope you enjoy reading my information because it was collected specially for you with all my love.

About my family: They are grateful for every benefit that I have received from the LW Ministries. As you know, we are attending the King of the Centuries Church. The LW teacher shared the gospel with my grandmother and she serves God by cleaning the church.  My mother`s name is Fermina Mejia Larios. Unfortunately, she traveled to the United States 3 months ago, but she still does not have communication with the family. I am living under the care of my grandmother Juana Morente. My mother decided to separate me from my sister Maria Esther before she left. My sister is living with my maternal grandparents.  My grandmother is 69 years old. She is a housewife. Currently, she raises hens to sell and cover our financial needs. Moreover, she grows corn and black beans for our family consumption. At the moment, she is the only one that supports me economically. I ask for your prayers for my life.

About myself: I am Juana Alicia Garcia Mejia and I am 13 years old. I am a healthy girl. I am in 5th grade at school and I go to study every morning. I help my mother with chores at home on weekends. LW Ministries has blessed my family and my life through the delicious meals for lunch. I love to eat the fried chicken there, and I have been blessed with medicines in the medical clinic. I enjoyed receiving the special gift and beautiful dramas during the Christmas celebration at the Feeding Center in December. I send you many blessings! (My grandmother provided this information to the Evangelism teacher)

Lots of love,

Juana Alicia Garcia Mejia
