My Story

Hello, it is a pleasure to greet you. I’m Griselda Karina Luis Benito. I am 13 years old now and I am no longer studying in school. Instead, I help my mom at home with the chores and housework. Occasionally, I go to visit my family members. On the weekends I love spending time with my family. My father’s name is Juan Luis De La Cruz. He works 3 to 4 days a week as a farmer so he can support my family economically. My mom is a stay-at-home mom. She does the housework also makes some money as well by raising and selling animals, such as pigs and chickens. We also grow corn and beans that we keep for ourselves. Living Water has been a huge blessing to us through the free lunches they provide each week. My favorite thing to eat at the program is the fried chicken. I also love when we receive our Christmas gift at the end of the year Christmas celebration. My family and I attend Prince of Peace Church. My parents are both saved and strong in their faith. When my father shared this information with the teacher from Living Water, he was encouraged to continue seeking the Lord and growing in his faith and trust in God.
