My Story

I am so glad to share with you about me and my family through this; I hope you are fine! Let me tell you that my family and I attend Catholic Church, and we go on Wednesdays and Sundays. We appreciate so much that the LW staff gave us encouraging words, and now, we are sure of our salvation in Christ. I live with my adoptive mother. She is Pabla Rodriguez Gutierrez and her age is 57 years old. She is a housewife and raises and sells hens, turkeys, and sheep to get income and supply our needs. We grow corn for our consumption. Thanks to the Lord, we are in good health.

This is Josselyn Aracely Rodriguez Gutierrez, and I am 11 years old. I am attending fifth grade; my learning is going well because I receive my classes at school. My mother does her best to cover the school expenses, but now, everything is more expensive. I want to tell you that I would like to become a professional manicurist when I grow up. The language I would like to learn is English because it is very interesting for me. About drinks, let me tell you I love coffee. Football is the sport I like the most. My mother tries to buy a cake to celebrate my birthday. She loves me so much. I like Christmas time because I light some firecrackers, and we eat “tamales” (a typical dish). My mother and I have been supported by Living Water and we are so grateful for the meals and medical care in the clinics. Our greatest needs are groceries, corn and clothes. So long. Every kind of blessing to you!

Bunch of hugs,

Josselyn Aracely Rodriguez Gutierrez
